We had a planned wine tour in Naramata, but as we were not paying attention to the time, a couple of the vineyards we wanted to visit had closed. On our back to Penticton, our taxi driver had noticed their road sign and they were still open! All six of us enjoyed every sample, and we were lucky enough to meet the owners and manager on their beautiful scenic hillside.

Cycling enthusiast or not this place is absolutely worth checking out. Get yourself a tasting outside and enjoy the fantastic views. These folks are living their dream of making great wine for everyone who enjoys good wine. If you are a cyclist or triathlete you will especially enjoy a bit of banter about the sport with the owners. Go support these nice folks and their award winning wine.

This is a new winery to watch! Already won 2 medals. The property is still being landscaped and curated so we’re excited to see their vision for their property as well as their wine!

This Naramata Bench winery is the 'new kid on the block' having just opened in the spring of 2022. I dropped by to see Mel, an old friend who is now the tasting room manager. I was just going to say hello and drop back in a week to do a proper tasting, but there was a lull and she insisted I needed to try their wines. I am glad I did. They were all quite impressive, especially for a new winery, but that only speaks to the talent of their winemaker, Dwight Sick. Owners Joel and Linda dropped by and filled me in on their story. I left with their Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Rosé, and two vintages of Pinot Noir. Be sure to give them a try when you are in the area. (Hint - be sure to try the Riesling and Gewürztraminer - you won't be disappointed.)

What a great addition to the Naramata Bench wineries. Joel and Linda have crafted some very fine wines to add to Naramata tours. The Pinot Gris both 2019 and 2020 are some of the best I have tasted on the bench. The Pinot Noir is also a keeper. I also tasted the Gewurztraminer which really impressed me with its floral notes and depth of minerality. Welcome to the Bench and keep on growing - and for all of you out there looking for the next great winery - drop by and enjoy Joel, Linda, Mel and Dwight and the wines they have crafted 🙂

We loved our visit to Chain Reaction and met the lovely owners. The label back they have chosen spoke to both my mom and I to such a degree it brought tears to our eyes. A very lovely tasting experience and wishing nothing but the best to this couple and their adventure!!!

Great wines, great views and wonderful hosts. Looking forward to follow the progression of the wines. Joined the Wine Club on our first visit and have done a second visit with the same experience.

Chatted with husband and wife owner throughout the whole tasing. Enjoyed their 2019 Pinot Gris and 2020 Pinot Noir quite a bit. Their Rose from Pinot Noir at their leased vineyard was the best Rose we've had in the area (Naramata Bench). Would recommend you stop by if you like small production, intimate, friendly wineries.
